The main activities on the island include surfing, diving and snorkelling. Surrounded by vivid blue water, the water is some of the clearest you will find anywhere in the region and is host to some premier reef breaks.
There are many dive shops on the island and the snorkelling and diving off Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida are well known for being home to vibrant coral reefs and a diverse marine life.

The roads are quiet and most are well surfaced. Scooter and bicycles are widely available for rent to explore the island at you own pace. You can cross by foot or bike to the small neighbouring island of Nusa Ceningan via a scenic suspension bridge.
Your stay on Nusa Lembongan can be as luxurious or as low key as you like. There’s no shortage of bungalow-style accommodation, as well as more upmarket resorts and villas that cater for couples and larger groups.
The main beach, Jungut Batu in the northwest offers a myriad of hotels and eateries. Popular with daytrippers, Mushroom Bay to the southwest of Jungut Batu is a quaint, attractive white sandy beach, along with some cosy little water-side restaurants.
Further south, Dream Beach is one of the most beautiful on the island and is increasingly drawing more visitors. There are numerous restaurants and beachside warungs that offer a relaxing spot to chill on a beanbag over a beer with fresh grilled fish.
