A truly unique paradise, Bintan is the largest island in the Riau province. It covers an area 1140 square kilometres and has a coastline of about 105 kilometres. It is truly a unique paradise with its simple way of life, beautiful beaches and friendly locals.
The population is, like the rest of Riau, a real mix of cultures including Malay, Bugis, Chinese and the Orang Laut (sea people).
Bintan is conveniently located just 60 minutes via a catamaran ride from Singapore and can be reached from Malaysia and Indonesia by ferries.
